Plumbing Windsor is a Queensland plumbing and gasfitting business, owned and run locally, working Windsor and the suburbs around it. All our work is performed by plumbers licensed under QBCC No: 15024607, spanning plumbing, drainage and gasfitting.
The price comes first. You see it in writing before we start, and it doesn't move once you've approved it. When we finish, you pay by card or EFTPOS on the spot.
From a dripping tap in a Newmarket Road flat to a burst pipe under a raised Queenslander, the same team handles both.

Four main arms of plumbing, each with its own page and its own pages:

This suburb splits into three distinct plumbing territories, and which one you live in shapes the jobs we do:
The post-1918 house boom that followed the Lutwyche Road tramline filled the older streets with homes on earthenware branch drains. Around Swan Terrace and Maygar Street, shifted or root-filled sockets are the weak point, and the sag that forms there catches paper and wipes.
A service reservoir went onto the hill in 1930 to serve streets that were already built up, so the plumbing under them is genuinely old. Unrenovated timber houses up there often still run their first galvanised supply pipe, furred inside until the flow at the tap is a trickle.
Census figures put nearly half the suburb's homes in the flat and apartment column, at 45.4 percent. Their storage heaters live in laundry cupboards and out on balconies, where a rusted base or a weeping relief valve drips straight into the unit below.

Plumbing emergency happening now? Start here:

covers the jobs that can't wait: a corroded line splitting under an old house on stumps, a cistern flooding a stacked block, a tank gone cold in June. Read that page first when water is moving.
is the booked-visit work: taps, toilets, bathrooms, kitchens, hidden leaks and gas appliances. If it drips, runs, blocks or smells faintly off, it lives here.
covers everything that carries water away, from a slow kitchen sink to a stormwater system that gives up every November. The mix of earthenware drains and hillside run-off makes that page worth a read.
covers tanks, elements, valves and full system swaps. Between the ageing unit blocks and the ground-level systems beside raised houses, no two hot water jobs here age the same way.

The low ground along Enoggera and Breakfast creeks carries a flood record stretching back well over a century, and it changes what plumbing work down there involves:
The 1893 flood hit Swan Hill hard, and the 1974 floods reached streets near Breakfast Creek. In January 2011, Enoggera Creek put low residential ground west of Bowen Bridge under water, and the suburb featured on the flooded-suburbs list again in February 2022.
Alluvial clay on the creek flats holds water long after the rain stops, so trench diggings down there stay soggy and groundwater works its way into the joints of older lines.
Storms run from November to March. The hill streets shed their run-off in sheets onto the flats, and kerb pits on the low ground can overflow before the creek even peaks.
For plumbing, that history shows up as repeat callouts to low laundries and garages near the creeks, and as drainage work that has to reckon with soil that never really dries out.

Every job in Windsor comes with $0 call-out fees, and there's no extra charge for nights, weekends or public holidays.
Our Fix-It-or-It's-Free guarantee stands behind the work (T&Cs apply), and if we're late, $100 comes off your bill.
Every job is done by a licensed plumber under QBCC No: 15024607, and our labour carries a lifetime labour warranty.
A locally owned and operated business, licensed and insured, with flat-rate pricing.
From a rental flat near the station on Eildon Road to a weatherboard on Rupert Street, the quote lands first and the figure never moves after your sign-off.

You'll never watch a meter run on one of our jobs. What moves a price is the job itself: where the pipe sits, how old it is, and what access is like.
A few local examples make it concrete:
takes more handling than one sitting at ground level beside a raised house.
can need more digging and repair than a newer line in the same street.
means dealing with saturated clay that never properly dries.
Access under a highset house is a gift; a pipe under a slab is not. Age, depth and access are the three levers, and you'll hear about all three before you say yes.
The suburb sits in a tight cluster of inner-north neighbours, and our regular run covers all of them:

Ring (07) 3067 4119 and let us know what's going on in Windsor. A few questions up front mean we turn up with the right parts.

You get flat-rate pricing and no hidden fees before anything is touched. Approve it and we get started.

Whether it's a tank in a Lutwyche Road unit block or a drain beneath an older hillside cottage, we carry the job through in one visit where we can.

Pay by card or EFTPOS on site at the end, or ask about Fix now, pay later.
Urban Utilities maintains the water and sewer mains in the street, while everything from the meter inwards, on the property side of the connection, is the owner's responsibility to maintain and repair.
Yes, every job in Windsor gets the full price on paper before a single tool comes out, so you can read it, think it over and approve a figure that won't move afterwards.
We work same-day where we can, so the earlier you ring (07) 3067 4119 the better our chances of reaching your place, from the Eildon Hill streets to the creek flats, before the day is out.
When the job's finished you can settle up on the spot with card or EFTPOS, so there's no invoice to wait for and nothing to post to a rental agent or an owner later.
Along with Windsor itself, our regular run takes in Lutwyche, Albion, Bowen Hills, Herston and Wilston, and we also cover the other inner-north suburbs sitting between them on the map.
Ring (07) 3067 4119, tell us what's happening at your place, and we'll lock in a time and give you the fixed price on paper before any of the work begins, not after.
